Use a natural soap not a synthetic detergent, castile soap or a pack washing product are best. Hand wash with a sponge or washcloth. For stains, or caked in grime and dirt, use a soft nylon brush or your lucky toothbrush. Do not submerge your bag as this will cause the materials to fatigue more quickly. Do not machine wash. Dry in the shade, not in the sun. For tough to remove exotic smells use baking soda or a container of charcoal.
